Root Stone Displacement Monitoring Technique Research for Downstream Regulating Projects of Yellow River

In order to resolve the problem of root stone displacement real - time monitoring for the river channel regulation works of the Yellow River and according to the practical condition of the Yellow River project, the paper analyzed the reason for causing the root stone displacement of project, and suggested " root stone displacement upward transfer + displacement transducer" monitoring method, underwater sonar detecting method, GPS orientation method, contacting optical fiber and other 8 kinds of root stone displacement real - time monitoring techniques, and finally confirmed the effective monitoring scheme -"root stone displacement upward transfer + displacement transducer". The scheme solved 4 technical problems: a) how to adapt the root stone displacement characteristics of the Yellow River project; b) how to confirm the reasonable principle of monitoring arrangement; c) automatic acquisition and communication technical problem; d) theoretical model for safety appraisal and warning.
