A proposal of reliable geocast protocol

Recently, geocast attracts many attentions. Geocast means multicast with using geographical information. Geocast can make it possible to deliver messages only using by geographical region information (eg. streamside of Mississippi river, around Pennsylvania station). Most of messages related to geocast must be delivered by wireless multi-hop fashion. Then, most of related works relevant to geocast are about how to deliver messages to users. However, reliability whether messages correctly arrive at users or not is as Important metric as how to deliver to evaluate the performance of geocast. In this paper, we will discuss "reliability" in geocast, propose a new method to guarantee it and demonstrate its performance via some simulations.
