Mobile service and application development in a mobility perspective

摘要

This paper is based on a general research approach, emphasizing important aspects in relation to developing more user oriented mobile services and applications. As a staring point, Scandinavian research within the field of social science concerning mobility is described and discussed. In addition to this a preliminary framework regarding the implications of mobility on the use and development of mobile services and applications is proposed. The framework is centered on four aspects; geographical, timely, contextual and organizational aspects and their implications on choice of access technology in relation to developing more user oriented mobile services and applications.
