Flexible OFDM experimental system for Beyond 3G Cellular Systems

Within the framework of the BMBF founded project COVERAGE we developed a flexible OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) experimental system, which supports also a multi-hop based transmission scheme. OFDM or MC (Multicarrier) is currently seen by many research parties as the basis for future cellular mobile radio systems like beyond 3G or 4G. Our goal is therefore to understand and investigate OFDM in more detail. In the following we will describe the experimental system and show some measurement results.
