In recent years, deep well water source heat pump system has gotten extensive application in northern China because of its steady and high -efficient, energy- conserving characteristic except for certain blindness in its application. In order to solve application blindness, experimental method was adopted to test the performance of heat pump unit and annual energy consumption of the system, confirm its annual operating cost, annual standard coal consumption and pollutant discharging. The investment also was analyzed according to actual price on the market. Compared with other traditional systems of heating and air conditioning, studies were carried out on economy, energy - conserving result and environmental impact. Furthermore, the annual cost value method was employed to carry out comparative analysis with other traditional schemes, and draw some important conclusions about the best choice of cold and heat source scheme in different cases.
