The adhesion ability between asphalt and aggregate as well as the micro-surfacing mixture's anti-water damage ability are two different conceptions. The micro-surfacing mixture's anti-water damage ability is not only associated with the adhesion ability between asphalt and aggregate, but also related to the mixture's air voids, raw material composition and so on. Using wet track abrasion test to evaluate micro-surfacing mixture's adhesion ability simultaneous with anti-water damage ability, and only using 6d wet track abrasion test value to characterize the mixture's anti-water damage ability existed some problems. In view of this, put forward two new indexes Dv and Pr to evaluate the mixture's anti-water damage ability together. The practice shows that, the smaller the Dv and Pr values are, the better the mixture's water stability is.
