Paper SZ for NMB Cables

The raw material costs represent a very high percentage of the total costs in a NMB cable. Since the raw material costs are permanently increasing, cable producers are forced to look for other alternatives in generating cost reductions on the final product. The use of the SZ stranding technology in combination with the jacketing process is a way to generate such a cost reduction. Extensive research and development at Rosendahl has. shown that the SZ stranding technology is fully suitable for the production of NMB cables.
