摘要

Mineral resource is rich in Daye area. A lot of geo-environmental problems had occurred due to mining at Daye. This paper tried to apply 38 technology in monitoring mining activities and related environment changes. Site investigation including distribution, location and amount of mines, exploitation state of mine and ecological effects due to mine exploitation is made. Base on the data-base of RS monitoring, it is proposed that the following work be reinforced: environmental monitoring, mining system optimization, pollution control, waste utilization and land reclamation, legal system improvement and environmental protection-related investment. The conclusion is that the 3S technology as a tool of monitoring mining activities can play an important role in the sustainable development of mining areas.
