Tailing from Guodian Iron Ore of Jinan Iron and Steel Group has been discharged into the big pit, which was formed due to earth fetched to produce bricks by the Bricks Workshop. All the pits are full up now. It is difficult to go on mineral separation because on area to discharge the tailing. In order to solve this problem and use the tailing resources reasonably, after technique discussion, 0.3 million Yuan was invested to produce tailing unburnt bricks with mainly the tailing, and some other materials such as steel slag powder and cement. The designed capasity is 5 million pieces per year. It does not only use the waste material but also save discharge fee up to 50 thousand yuan yearly.
