Sectional Damage Coefficient and Its Calculation Method of R. C. Beam with Corroded Steel Bars in Compressive Area

Damage of sectional performance by corrosion of steel bars in compressive area in R. C. bending member is studied in this article, and the definition of sectional damage coefficient is set up, according to the assumption stress calculating method after damage of section is founded. On the base of the method, the calculating method by computer of sectional damage coefficient is presented, influencing factors are analyzed and many important behavior of sectional damage coefficient have been gotten. The relation between sectional damage coefficient and corrosion quantity is a three fold line.
