摘要

Though break control are one of the most important issues of train control, the pneumatic break system has a lot of nonlinearities and disturabances. Therefore, highly robust controller is required for the break control. In this paper, a sliding mode controller has been designed for pneumatic railway brake system with an ON/OFT valve. Thehyperplane design procedure has been proposed by considering the system physical property. A hybrid simulator has been used in order to evaluate the e□ectiveness of the proposed controller, and the experimental results have shown the usefulness. Robustness of the control system has also been evaluated by the simulator and robust stability condition.
