摘要

This paper studies the geometrical shape of error band for GIS uncertainty ε_σ mode of three-dimension line segment. Based on the monotone and extreme theory of function, the paper proves the geometrical shape of error band for ε_σ model of line segment theoretically, and obtains the minimumrnand its position of error band mathematically. The study shows that error band is with the geometrical shape of "larger ends and smaller middle" or "larger one end and smaller the other end". This studyrnperfects ε_σ model theoretically, provides a new approach for the study of GIS uncertainty, and can represent the line graph of GIS with high accuracy.
