Using alumina-magnesia-carbon brick' particle as main raw material, by changing the used brick' addition and particle composition, effect of used brick to slag resistance is studied. By the way of numbering grids to measuring and computing the corrosion index, and using x-ray diffraction method to analyze the specimens' phase compositions. Results indicate: slag resistance of the material is gradually strengthened with increasing of used brick' addition. Slag resistance is gradually weakened with reducing the used brick (3-1mm) aggregate. Spinel, corundum, and a little graphite and CA_6 phase are found in the corroded material.
