摘要

The dynamics of two solitary wave interaction in a parametrically excited water trough has been investigated numerically by using the Miles' cubic nonlinear Schrodinger-like equation of the envelope wave. There are four fashions of the two solitary wave interaction. Among them the oscillation case has been studied in detail, and the oscillating period of two solitary wave interaction has been obtained. The numerical results are quite in agreement with the experimental observations.
