Abstract: Range-Instantaneous-Doppler Algorithm (RIDA) should be used in ISAR imaging when the target is maneuvering. With the assumption that Doppler shift of scatterers is low-order polynomial, an adaptive LFM `CLEAN' technique to estimate the instantaneous frequency is proposed, where scatterer Migration Through Resolution Cell is also considered. The final RID images of the real maneuvering aircraft are obtained, which confirms the effectiveness of the proposed technique.!5
