DAMAGE DETECTING AND SAFETY APPRAISAL OF THE EXTRA BRIDGE ON DA-FU LINE

Da-Fu line K4+062 is an extra large bridge of 103 spans with a service history of 20 years. In order to verify the current states of the bridge, the whole process of detecting and appraisal tasks on the bridge is introduced and analyzed one by one. First of all the integrity and technical conditions are identified by bridge appearance examination. Then the parameters of the bridge structure are gained through material detecting and magnitude measurement, and on the base of which the computing mode is built to do some relative analysis. After that, in order to check the coincidental degree between the bridge on service and the designed model and identify the status of the bridge under working load, static and dynamic load test is carried out and the measured static and dynamic responses are checked. Lastly safety appraisal is drawn on the basis of the forgoing tasks.
