摘要

Many coalfields possess abundant larger dip seams over 35 ~ 55 degrees in China, which are difficult to be mined. This paper analyses the technology characteristics of the large dip seams with 35 ~ 55 degrees. It is indicated that slanting longwall (top coal caving) is safe and effective to larger dip seams with 35 ~ 55 degrees and the compatibility of powered supports and compatible equipments is nucleus technology for larger dip seams. The mechanical feature and stability of powered supports are analyzed and the principle of powered supports and general working face mating is put forward based on full-seam cutting and sublevel coal caving technique. Two kinds of design of powered support for large dip seams, as well as their end-support, are introduced to research the technology measure of anti-falling and skid-proof, to guarantee safety production in working face. The practice of mining 45 degree dip and 3 ~ 3.5 m thick seam in Huayingshan is introduced.
