The technology of numerical simulation is regarded as the handling tool of the modern manufacturing industry, it is one kind of technology that adopts the virtual technology to reflect real interaction between the molds and blank, it plays a more and more important role in fast manufacturing industry and intellectualized design. This paper presents a numerical simulation to the first two forming stages of manufacturing the Easy Making Beverage Can, which is a multi-stage sheet metal drawing process, and the thickness changes and stress distributions are obtained to judge if the successive forming process will be successful.
