Back experience from four landslides stabilized through lines of siphon drains~reg; in Normandy (France)

In France, the sequence of years 1999, 2000 and 2001, proved to correspond to a peak in annual rainwater in comparison with the average tendency. This accumulation has activated numerous important landslides in the "Pays d'Auge" region in Normandy (France). In order to stabilize such landslides, the engineer will first of all try to drain deeply the landslide, before trying to stabilize it through mechanical reinforcements. It was then interesting to choose a deep drainage technique through lines of siphon drains~®, a technique developed by TPGEO company with 15 years of experience in Europe.
