A NEW KIND OF BEAM STRING STRUCTURE WITH HIGH DURABILITY

摘要

A new kind of beam string structure, named RPC - BSS, which consists of reactive powder concrete beam and cables, is presented in this paper. The new material of RPC provides high durability and high strength, and the cable provides huge tensile force. The analytical results show that the new structure is of longer span, less weight, better aseismic characteristics and higher durability than conventional beam string structure.
