摘要

The present situation of research and development of ordinary concrete filled steel tube (CFST) structure and gangue concrete filled steel tube (GCFST) structure were summarized. The feasibility and economic and social benefit which are brought through the substitution of gangue (a secondary resource) for ordinary sand and stone as aggregate was analyzed. The superiority GCFST composite material formed through pouring gangue concrete into steel tube was applied to perpendicular bearing members, and the superiori- ty of it also was also analyzed. Inelastic yield load formula of GCFST middle long columns under axial compression was deduced through the use of tangent modulus theory on the basis of constitutive relations of GCFST composite material. Middle long columns were tested and conclusion showed that theory formula is checking well with experimental results. Limited slenderness ratio of axial compression short columns, middle long columns and long columns under axial compression were determined. Failure characters of middle long columns were analyzed. All these lay the theoretical groundwork for the application of GCFST to engineering practice.
