Sensitivity Improvement of UHF PD Detection in GIS by Sensors Installed from CT Outlet Port

摘要

In the past, we usually detected the PD in GIS from the plate insulator outside of GIS by UHF antenna. The detecting sensitivity from the plate insulator outside of GIS is lower than that from the internal sensors in GIS. Recently we found that the sensor installation from CT outlet port will improve the sensitivity of PD detection in GIS markedly. In this paper, not only simulation and test in laboratory but also installation and test on site is discussed.
