HEAT TRANSFER CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ALUMINUM INTEGRAL FIN-TUBE (AIF)

This article concentrates on a new type of fin-tube called AIF which means aluminum integral fin-tube, and the final result of the experiment for this type of fin-tubes. The AIF tube has much larger area for heat exchange because of its outer expanded fins. Fins and the tube are made of a integrity, so there is no heat resistance. This experiment is done in a suction wind tunnel. Compare the experiments of the AIF tube with its plain tube, we get the heat exchange experiential formulas. At last, we'll discuss some optimization methods for heat exchangers using this AIF tube. The result of this experiment shows that this AIF tube has excellent effect for heat exchange. This result will offer the theory foundation for researching new type of fin-tubes.
