East route of South-to-North Water Diversion project in China: Risk and Control Measure of Oncomelania hupensis Infestation

摘要

The snail control projects will be logical and effective in the first phase project in the east route. The risks of the transmission of the snails towards north will be avoided by the engineering and non-engineering measures in the water-transporting riverway in the east route. If the monitoring and early-warning system and the emergency plans will be actualized, the schistosomiasis transmission does not appear following the construction of the eastern route of South-to-North Water Diversion Project.
