AN INVESTIGATION ON THEORETICAL HEAD PRODUCED BY CENTRIFUGAL PUMP AND WATER TURBINE BLADES

Theoretical head produced by centrifugal pump is not given by the difference between the head obtained at the trailing edge of impeller outlet and that obtained at the leading edge of impeller inlet. Head obtained at the trailing edge of impeller outlet gives it. Theoretical head applied to centrifugal water turbine is given by the difference between the head obtained at the leading edge of impeller inlet and that at the trailing edge of impeller outlet.
