摘要

In this investigation, numerical simulation and experiment are applied for studying performance of the Counter-Rotating Axial Flow Pump (CRAFP). Based on Standard k epsilon turbulence model and the SIMPLEC method, The calculation results, such as the pressure distributions at three flow points, have been presented in this paper. Meanwhile, the paper has obtained the results such as the pressure distributions and the isolines of inlet and outlet sections for the pump performance. The results showed the numerical calculation performance of CRAFP is consistent with that shown in test. They also indicated that the numerical simulation method can be used for understanding the design for CRAFP.
