Optimal Bit Lengths of Direction Signatures for Spatial Match Accessing Using Basic Linear Hashing Scheme

Based on the mechanism of 9-DLT representation and basic linear hasing, we propose a new method for efficient storage suitable on dynamic environments. To speedup query retrieval, signatures are used. The theoretical optimal signatures are derived and a systematic algorithm is used in practice.
