By means of chemical extraction and X-ray diffraction, the crystallization degree of the interstitial materials of cement clinker produced by eight different kilns were analyzed and compared, and the difference of the compatibility of these various cements with superplasticizer was tested. Then the effect of the crystallization degree of minerals of interstitial materials of cement clinkersticizer on the compatibility of cement with superplasticizer has been analyzed based on the testing results. The results showed that the compatibility of cement with superplasticizer can be influenced not only by the minerals content of interstitial materials of cement clinker but also by the crystallization degree of these minerals. The crystallization degree of minerals of interstitial materials of cement clinker was an important factor on the compatibility of cement with superplasticizer.
