Study on the Factors Affecting the Strength of New Type Inorganic Anchoring Mortar

Embedded steel anchoring is a new technology for strengthening and reconstruction of the building, in this study, a new type of inorganic embedded steel anchoring material has been prepared from special binding material system, consisting of Portland cement clinker, granulated blast furnace slag and complex stimulating agent with standard sand or superfine sand as fine aggregate. The influence of clinker-slag ratio, binder-sand ratio, solution-binder ratio and composition of solution on the strength of new type inorganic anchoring mortar is discussed. Results shows that the new type inorganic anchoring mortar is characterized by high early strength, rapid hardening, and high strength, its 10 hour compressive strength can reach 26.5 Mpa and 365 day strength 144.0 Mpa; the properties of the new type inorganic anchoring material can be adjusted by regulating the clinker-slag ratio, binder-sand ratio, solution- binder ratio and the dosage of complex admixtures to produce an anchoring material meeting with the requirement for strengthening of reinforced concrete structure with the strength grade of C60~C100.
