摘要

In this paper, computation of transient electromagnetic (EM) forces owing to inrush current that is exited on transformer windings. The inrush current is calculated from circuit equation and magnetic characteristics. The magnetic leakage flux and transient EM force owing to inrush current are predicted by finite element analysis (FEA) based on EM field. In order to verify the validity of analysis, the transient EM forces obtained from FEA are compared with the analytical values.
