摘要

With the development of high technology, there bring forward the requirements to construct constant temperature rooms with a tall and big space. The object of the study is a constant temperature air conditioning system in a laboratory with a tall and big space for laser nuclear fusion. To evaluate the quality of temperature distribution in the constant temperature room, the concept of Temperature Uniformity Index (TUI) is proposed as an evaluation index. TUI is defined as the ratio of the number of measuring points met requirement to the number of total measuring points. The TUI values of the constant temperature room have been gained by both numerical analyses and experiments, and the difference between them is quite little, which proved that the TUI is feasible. The study also proved that in the constant temperature room with a tall and big space, the TUI is a simple and effective evaluation method for temperature distribution, which has no strict requirement to the location and number of measuring points. Also, this method can be broaden to the conventional constant temperature room.
