摘要

Energy saving has great potential in building HVAC systems because the energy consumption of building system accounts for large amount of total energy use. Especially when the system operates under low efficiency caused by faults, the energy use increases considerable. It is good for introducing energy diagnosis system (EDS) into building system. Different classification methods of faults have been presented and reviews of Fault Detection and Diagnosis (FDD) have been surveyed in this paper. After studying the state-of-the-art of FDD system, some research directions of EDS in building system have been discussed.
