摘要

We develop an analysis method for multi-scale and multi-physics problems for evaluating the deterioration in material properties of concrete materials. Regarding the materials as two-phase composites, we identify the representative volume elements (RVE) in meso-scale or micro-scale by applying the theory of mathematical homogenization to characterize the macroscopic material properties. During the course of the two-scale modeling based on the homogenization method, we incorporate the heat conduction and small deformation processes involved in the deterioration into our formulation. Several numerical examples show that the developed analysis method enables us to evaluate the thermo-mechanical properties of deteriorating composite materials in both macro- and micro-scales.
