PRESENT STATE OF RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ON MEASURES TO REDUCE TRAIN-INDUCED GROUND VIBRATIONS

摘要

This paper reports the survey results on the present state of research and development to reduce train-induced ground vibrations. The survey shows that reducing the car weight, softening of track supporting suspension and wall-in-ground have been applied to practical use and their effects to reduce vibrations can be estimated. Other measures to reduce vibrations have also been researched. However methods to estimate their efficiency are still under development.
