Consequently, it is compellingly necessary in an effective procedure that all tools and data be placed at everyone's disposal. This way, everyone is better able to assist the conceptional design of new products as well as to make detailed improvements on already existing designs. Therefore, efficiently implemented optimization algorithms complement the proven discrete calculation procedures (FEM, BEM) of mechanically loaded structures.
