Characteristics of Millimetre-Wave Images for Detection of Concealed Threats

In the last years different approaches for the detection of concealed threats using millimetre-wave imagingrnhave been developed. One possible application lies in the detection of concealed objects at the body of arnperson either in a stand-off imaging scenario or in a portal at the entrance of a security critical environment. Inrnthis paper a comparison between different setups with respect to the resulting images are presented. Characteristicrnproperties of images that can be used for the identification of the objects using different configurationsrnare shown.
