Gravimetric feeders are ideal metering devices for bulk materials such as granules and powders whose flow properties differ over a wide range. In the chemical and plastics industries and in many other areas of the processing industry continuous operating weigh feeders are used for precise metering of individual components or as part of a multi component feeding system. Sticky powders which will build-up on the feeding tool and which is bridging in the storage hoppers will substantially influence the feeder accuracy.
