This field experiment was conducted on a calcareous soil in the north of Fars province of Iran as a randomized complete blocks design (RCBD) with six treatments and four replications. The treatments were: check (T0); N, P, K, according to soil testing (T1); T1 + 40 kg ha~(-1) zinc sulfate (T2); T2 + 25 kg ha~(-1) ferrous sulfate(T3); T3 + 40 kg ha~(-1) manganese sulfate (T4), and T4 + 15 kg ha~(-1) boric acid (T5). Maximum yield obtained from simultaneous application of macro and micro elements (T5 treatment) while no treatments reduced the grain yield. All treatments significantly changed the concentrations of elements in the wheat grain. The results may be due to antagonism between the elements and/or dilution effect. The results also show that in the calcareous soil, simultaneous application of macro and micro-elements improves yield and quality of wheat grain.
