PAST TSUNAMI EVALUATION AND TSUNAMI OF MARCH 11TH IN 2011 AT FUKUSH1MA DAIICHI NPS

In this paper, we described past tsunami evaluations that have been conducted by TEPCO since the establishment permit of Fukushima Daiichi NPS. Although TEPCO has been making an effort to improve the safety of NPS against tsunamis in a timely manner, in hindsight, tsunami preparations were insufficient. In the latter half of the paper, we show the tsunami survey results and the tsunami reproduction analysis using the inversion method. As a result we proposed a source model that is able to accurately reproduce the March 11th tsunami.
