Plasticity Intensification Calculation For The High Pressure Fuel Pipe Of Heavy Duty Diesel Engine

This paper discusses a way to intensify the high pressure fuel pipe of heavy duty diesel engine effectively by the pipe pretreatment. The basic principle of the pretreatment is establish a surplus stress in the pipe by loading a pressure make a yield distortion on the inner surface of the pipe. The pre-stress can lower the peak stress of working by subtracting the working pressure. In this paper, a software for calculating the best pretreatment pressure is also introduced and the results of the treatment are presented.
