There is considered a complex approach to the design of all the components of traction electric equipment set (TEES) for hybrid vehicles,including generators, traction motors,buffer power storages,power and control electronics,auxiliary power and cooling systems. The design is fulfilled to realize traction and dynamical requirements to the vehicle with optimally designed components according to criteria of minimum volume,weight,cost,and maximum efficiency. There are stated issues of design and optimization of active zone of the traction asynchronous motors,experimental identification of their parameters,and optimization of operation mode. There are given examples of realization of various vehicles ’ TEES,made by the RUSELPROM Corp.
