摘要

Knowledge of the stress-strain situations arising while driving will make a significant contribution towards ergonomic design of the driver work place and his work environment and reducing risks of road accidents. The Institute of Ergonomics (IAD) at Darmstadt University of Technology has been working on various different research projects concerning vehicle ergonomics during the years. A method pool for stress-strain analysis has been worked out and tested in order to reach the project objectives. This pool includes different methods such as NASA RTLX, NASA TLX-ZEIS, FRF, EZ, questionnaires and electro-physiological strain measurement methods (heart rate, EMG).
