Smalltalk as a System Modeling Tool

Smalltalk is a rich, general purpose objectporiented programming language and environment. It is also an effective tool for modeling systems. Smalltalk employs constructs that are applicable to any hard systems design problem, and these constructs aid the system designer in reducing the system complexity. However, the trade off is a one-time, steep learning curve on the order of three to six months.
