摘要

Grid technology, which supports a large scale resources share and collaboration, has particular advantage in integrating existing heterogeneous systems and platforms, in order to realize a large-scale digital library interoperability on Internet, a grid technology based framework for digital libraries interoperability is presented in this paper , Digital Library Grid, which is based on OAI-PMH(Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting) framework, and a architecture with there levels for DL Grid is given. Then, some crucial technologies under Grid environment are analyzed and designed, such as discovering and harvesting, re-building and utilizing of metadata resources. Through prototype designing, the DL Grid system elementally realizes the information sharing of digital libraries basing on integrated metadata resources.
