WEB-BASED REAL-TIME COOPERATIVE EDIT SYSTEM

As a very important field of CSCW, cooperative edit systems have a rapid development in recent years. Many systems have appeared and been put into use. But most of these systems have deficits, such as not supporting the brainstorm edit mode, not marking user's edit process and so on. We have done many things in these directions and have finished a Web-based Real-time Cooperative Edit System (WRCES). WRCES offers consistency maintenance at the brainstorm edit mode, marks user's edit process and provides multimedia subsystem. In this paper, we introduce the architecture and the work model of this system.
