摘要

In the current period of time there is tremendous increase in the video data which encourages for more exploration on video summarization. Video summarization means main content, scenes are extracted from the video. For video summarization, key frames extraction is very essential. The crucial contents are presented by the key frame. Abstract form of video is very useful in video processing. This paper represents novel method for video content summarization using Thepade's sorted n-ary block truncation coding with different color spaces. In this paper, work has been done on five distinct forms of TSBTC's. Out of these forms, Thepade's sorted pentnary block truncation coding gives highest performance for all color spaces as compared to others. Here for different variation of TSBTC's various color spaces has been used. In this, YCbCr gives better performance in all TSBTC's. For calculating the similarity between two frames Canberra distance is used.
