Commercialising Fuel Cell Products From Education to Application

摘要

In this paper the method taken by heliocentris to commercialise fuel cells is presented. The educational market was identified as a high-value entry market for fuel cell products. The benefits of this approach and the technological developments that resulted for our company will be demonstrated by presenting data from our educational products. The range of our products reaches from school and university applications to vocational education. The technological experience gained has been used to develop small power supplies for commercial applications. The prototypes show a reasonably high energy density when compared to batteries, a simple system layout and they are very robust under different load conditions.
