Numerical assessment of hydrogeomorphic wetland functions

A coupled surface/subsurface hydrologic model was developed to examine hydrologic components of the Hydrogeomorphic Classification Model (HGM). An examination of the efficacy of the qualitative ranking systems (Functional Capacity Index) was performed for the maintenance of static and dynamic surface water storage in prairie pothole wetlands.
