Numerical Modelling Of Ground Water Systems

摘要

This keynote article presents groundwater flow model, solute transport model and inverse modeling for parameter estimation for Mahi Right Bank Canal Command area. Sea water intrusion model is also considered for a synthetic multilayer coastal aquifer. The study finds that a proper formulation of models augmented with adequate data can yield reasonably accurate results. Together these numerical models are essential for effective groundwater systems planning and management of regional aquifers.
