In this paper we present the design and synthesis of a Wideband Embedded Media Access Controller (WEMAC) integrated system to provide substantial speedup for networking applications that eliminate the need of a computer to connect any digital device to a Local Area Network (LAN), Specifically, the first goal is to design a WEMAC for the Wideband, (a fast channel) operating at the speed of 800 Mbps. The main function of WEMAC is to guarantee the data traffic by controlling the data packets between network devices. WEMAC prevents collisions using the Packet Buffer Synchronization (PBS) approach. Upon completion of the WEMAC and validating its simulation outputs, we will synthesize the design in FPGA prototype. Performance measures like power consumption can be compared to current lower speed market solutions. WEMAC will reduce the cost and power consumption, in high-speed networks. If the devices are no longer consuming high power, they can be powered through a category-S network cable and eliminate the process of regular electrical power outlet installations and maintenance. So, WEMAC will also reduce the connection complexity of high-speed digital systems in real time applications.
